Who’s Who

Just a short little list for everyone of the main characters, nicknames, and a short background, to get us all on the same page~ we’ll update it as more get added ❤

Frisk- Frisk is the savior of the Fix You timeline of the Underground, the widow of the Serif household and mother to Ally. She lives alone with her daughter in a suburban neighborhood of Ebott City, at the foothills of Mt. Ebott. She has become more and more sickly the longer she has remained apart from her soulmate. It has been five years since her husband’s death.

Sans– Sans comes from the Axetale Underground, widower and father of Liza. Has been greatly changed, injured and mutated by his time in the diseased Underground, and has never seen the surface. Every day that has passed since his soulmate’s death has been a physical pain; the only things keeping him alive are his brother and his daughter. It has been fifteen years since his wife’s death. The surface world of this universe doesn’t seem to be plagued by the Hunger, though its taint is carried in his soul yet. What it means for the future is still unknown.

Ally (Aliza)– Daughter of Frisk and the deceased Sans of Fix You, Ally is five years old, chipper and bright and bombastic. Her magic is already beginning to develop, as a sorcerer (the child of a human and a monster), and is completely unaware of the difference between her deceased father and Sans. Cobalt is her constant companion.

Liza (Aliza)– Daughter of Sans and the deceased Frisk of the Axetale timeline, Liza is fifteen years old, and has seen far more in her short life than any girl her age should have had to. Abused by her only caretaker on the surface and shunned by the rest of her “kind”, she fled to the mountain at the bidding of her dead mother’s journal, in search of the monsters her mother had so loved before her death. She found her father and uncle there, and the family she’d always wanted with the maddened, mutated monsters. Underdeveloped, mentally and magically, Liza struggles with many aspects of day to day life, but has the tenacity to persevere through much, and is fiercely loving and loyal to those who she judges worthy. Ruby is her constant companion and her guiding light.

Pap– Pap is the brother of the Sans of the Axetale universe, and would have suffered as greatly as his brother did, had it not been for the fantasy world he forced his mind into, to preserve his own sanity. His fantasy world was one of the past, where nothing was wrong and everything was as it once had been. He relied heavily on Sans because of this handicap, becoming unstable and risking psychotic break should his schedule be broken, but to lose his sanity, in Sans’ eyes, would be far worse. He encouraged his brother’s delusions, and supported him for the years they were trapped underground. Now, free of the Hunger and the Underground, Pap will have to cope with the things that he and his brother had to do.

Ruby– Ruby is the lingering soul of the Frisk of the Axetale universe, bound to Liza’s soul by her sheer determination to linger and finish her duty to her people and her family, and to protect her helpless daughter. She is Liza’s guardian, inspiration, and only friend throughout her young life, and guides her to the mountain, and her remaining family, when the time is right. Liza, nor any of the Axetale company, know her true identity, as human souls are not known to linger on, but she doesn’t mind. It isn’t her goal to seek recognition for her deeds, but to see her family’s happiness.

Cobalt– Cobalt is the lingering soul of the Sans of the Fix You timeline, bound to Ally’s soul by the trauma of his death and his desire to remain with his family, the ones he cared for the most. He is her companion and guardian and friend, even though she is not aware of his identity, and will remain with her until she no longer needs him. Frisk is aware of his identity and sentience, and though he cannot speak, communicates nonverbally with him when he is not occupied with their daughter.
